This site is dedicated to the memory of Allan David Ramsbottom.

Allan passed away on 5.10.11, aged just 20. He went to the doctor on the Tuesday with a sore throat and by Thursday was on life support having suffered multiple organ failure. Although we had no diagnosis at the time of death, we have since learned he had Lymphoma. For this reason we feel we would like to help raise awareness and support other families in our position. Everyone knew Allan to be a fun-loving, laidback and caring guy and he will be sadly missed by all. Further Note: The response to Allan's tribute fund has been truly amazing and exceeded any expectations. His mother, brother and sisters all knew he was amazing, but never realised just how highly so many of his friends and family thought of him. Update April 2012: So many people have been so kind and supported Allan's fund at various events. It is really comforting to know so many people thought so much about him. He would be humbled and flattered at the response shown and to know that he has touched so many peoples hearts. 5 October 2013 Two very long years have passed by since we lost you. Not a single day has gone by without us thinking of you. Some days more than others, but today it will be impossible not to think of you every single moment - you are embedded in our hearts. GOD bless you.

I truly hope you are able to see as you look down The love and respect that’s gathered around I hope you can hear what your family and friends say I hope you know, the pride they have in the role you played You are our son and you are in our hearts still The space that you’ve left is impossible to fill Memories of joy with you we all could tell Which ensure you’ll always be remembered well Though you’re no longer here, with us to see We’ve strength in knowing a part of you always will be We will always hear your laugh, or see your smile And no doubt feel you presence once in a while Hours fly and flowers die New days and new ways pass by But Love stays

Today would be your 22nd birthday and we deeply feel the fact that we cannot share it with you. I, your mum, brother, sisters and all your friends are missing you and today they feel the pain even more. We love you son.
